I began practicing Esthetics in 2003, I believe everyone possesses their own beauty and I love helping our clients feel and look their best! I am a master trained skincare specialist with Eminence Organics and waxing has always been one of my favorite services. Lash Extensions became my passion in 2008 when I wanted to expand my services....I try everything out on myself first. I hated wearing mascara, back then there was a lot of people who said extensions ruin your own lashes. NOT TRUE! I quickly became certified with Novalash and received my advanced certification in 2010. I have been doing and wearing lashes ever since!!

In 2015 I had become so busy. I made the decision to expand my business and educate new artists. Our mission is to create a calm, relaxing environment with luxury products and services. My most recent passion is BROWS! In 2017 I became certified in Microblading. This is just an amazing service.

I want every person who enters our door to know they will receive the very best treatment and service.

During my free time I love to cook, garden, workout, camp and just enjoy time with my friends and family.

NATALIE

Esthetician + Lash Artist

Hi, my name is Natalie Agliolo. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. I have been a licensed esthetician since the end of 2019 and have been working at SBK Beauty ever since. I was working the front desk learning the ins and outs of the business before I became a licensed professional. I specialize in lashes and I am very passionate about skin care. Growing up very active, the beauty industry always intrigued me to take care of myself and my skin.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends or being outside. I love curling up to a good book or binging a good show. I am constantly furthering my knowledge in this industry I am blessed to be a part of this amazing group of professionals. I look forward to servicing all of your beauty needs! 

SKYLAR

Esthetician + Lash Artist 

Hello all. My name is Skylar Nelson, currently an esthetician here at Sbk Beauty. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in December of 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. While I was in college, you may have seen me working the front desk. This sparked my interest in the esthetic field. As soon as I graduated, I went to beauty school and became a licensed esthetician the next year. I have now been working as an esthetician for a year, and have been loving it! As of now, I am back at school pursuing a degree in Nursing, in hopes of being an aesthetic nurse. I hope to expand my scope of practice and specialize more in skin conditions.

My favorite part of my job now is all things skincare! I love helping clients build a regimen and finding what works for their skin and specific concerns. I look forward to meeting you in the treatment room! 

MACHELL

Esthetician + Waxing Specialist

Hi, my name is Machell Parker. I am originally from the Bay Area where I grew up. In my free time I like to spend time with my family and my dogs, making crafts, and being near the ocean or outdoors. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2013. I worked as an assistant in salons doing hair. But I was always most passionate about makeup which then inspired me to go towards skin care. In 2016 I started waxing full time. Then I made the move to Reno in 2018 when I was pregnant with my son to be closer to my family. I took some time off to be a mom and I am now a mom of two. In that time I came to SBK as a client which led me to working here. I am so excited to be back and look forward to my future as an esthetician here at SBK Beauty and Lashes.

CHRISTIE

Spa Manager

Hi, my name is Christie and I am the salon manager at SBK Beauty.  I relocated to Reno 16 years ago and have never looked back.  My family moved here for my husband’s business and I was so grateful to be able to stay home and raise my two lovely daughters.  

Once my daughters were older, I realized that it was time for me to invest in myself again.  Fortunately, I met Kym and have now been working for SbK Beauty for 6 years.  I am so grateful to be a part of the SBK team/family and it has been my pleasure to help each and every client feel special and valued.

Outside of work, my priority and joy is spending time with my husband, daughters, Norwich terrier, and quarter horse.  You will also find me immersed in helping my husband build our dream ranch on 10 acres.

Social Media + Concierge

Hi, I’m Taylor! I am the social media manager and also work the front desk here at SBK Beauty! As a fairly new alumni of the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing, it excites me to put my education into practice as I strive to create content that effectively represents the salon and all of the beautiful things it has to offer.

Outside of the work environment, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family, but I look forward to picking up new hobbies now that I am no longer in school - cooking, reading, working out, etc. I was born in Seattle and lived in Southern California prior to moving here, but I have lived here for the majority of my life. With that said, I am proud to have completed the entirety of my education locally and have the opportunity to work for a local small business! It is truly a pleasure getting to know all of the clients here at SBK Beauty and I hope to be of good service to all of you!

Hi, my name is Marcia Motter and I work the front desk here st SBK Beauty. I moved to the Reno area over 45 years ago. I love living in such a beautiful place.

I have been friends with Kym and also a client for the past 14 years. I recently retired from the WCSD and wanted to do something different. I am enjoying getting to meet and know the wonderful clients here at SBK Beauty. I am truly blessed to be part of such an amazing team of women.

Outside of work, I like golfing with my husband, spending time at Lake Tahoe and spending time with my family.
